About

TextXD aims to:

  • Foster a cross-disciplinary community of text processing experts from academia, research, and industry.
  • Develop a shared understanding of each other’s use of text processing data, algorithms, and software.
  • Help us learn from one another, through tutorials, and collaborative work sessions, about available tools and methods, and the applicability of these to various discipline-specific problems.

Program

TextXD 2020 will take place Thursday Dec. 10 through Saturday Dec. 12 virtually.

Hackathon

This year TextXD conference will feature a three-day (48 hour) “Law and Society” Hackathon on December 10-12. Participants will focus on analyzing text datasets from investigative reporting on the subject of police misconduct.
